Perfect place to rest and savour your taste buds.
Sometimes, the best journeys are the ones that take you closer to yourself—like a serene escape to Nashik, where the air is filled with calm, the plates are filled with flavour, and every moment feels like a gentle reminder to savour life.
Quick getaway from Pune which has the best scenic views and things to experience. Not everything is good experience, some of them teach us a lot in life. The only bad part of this trip was restaurant that we visited but more about it later.
Actually I am writing blog bit late as this trip happened in the month of October. When the rainy season ends and the winter is yet to start, this is a time when you see a mix of both. On our route we got a little bit of rain, a little bit of sun. Where was winter then?
Well we started very early from our house at around 5AM. You know it a big challenge to start this early when you are travelling with a toddler, but we managed. We fed cereal and some fruits to her and packed some more snacks for the route. As she woke up before her usual time, there a lot of sleep to cover up from backlog.
We started from our home and the morning cold breeze was awesome. Little did we feel in the car but we also took some breaks. This fun part of the journey is drive slowly and take as many breaks you can to refuel the body to function for a longer time.
We had our breakfast at 📍Vithal Kamat, Pune – Nashik Highway. I always wonder why while travelling and that too in the morning South Indian food tastes great. We had Rawa Masala Dosa, Idly – Wada Sambar and ended with Filter Coffee. After this we clicked few picks, freed the tension build up in legs and resumed our journey.

Well rest of the journey was easy but before reaching our resort we decided to have lunch. Hence we visited 📍Divtya Budhlya. We ordered the Mutton🍗 Paya Soup and Special Mutton Thali. Well this was not the first time we went to this place, but it was disappointing for the second time as well. First time we were bit early and were waiting for the food to be prepared. Hence we decided to try it again. Taste was okay, there was nothing different or special to call the dish to be from Nashik. The blend of spices was also below average. It felt like influencers had created the big hoax about this restaurant. My recommendation will be to not visit this place at all.

After ruining our taste bud we wanted to revive them completely before visiting the resort. We went to 📍MyFroyoLand, Nashik, a yogurt based ice-cream destination. They have very unique concept of billing based on the weight of ice cream cup. So basically from the nozzles you can pick your flavours, add toppings and sauces and put it on weighing scale and voila it is done.

After the sugar rush we went straight to our resort. We got into our room and took a quick nap. It was leisure day, so we took a walk around the property, had dinner and slept well.
Talking about this place: 📍Aria Resort, Nashik is a wonderland for us. The property is build over a wast area and has multiple points that make this a dream destination. The architecture is like some lego blocks are stacked on top of each other.

The property is kid friendly as there is ample space to roam around and play. There is a huge pool on the deck area, the resort restaurant is also very big. Food is great in taste and can be customised based on your need. The menu covers a lot of things which include some kids special items as well.
So the first day went in replenishing the energy so decided to start the next day with our tummies full to take a stroll. At this resort the breakfast buffet is most recommended. The spread is very appealing that it would make you try all of the food items. From South Indian to continental to desserts and what not. Literally after having all we just wanted to sleep but the infinity pool was very tempting so we decided to take a dip
Well more than us it was the first time for my daughter. Her first dip into the water was very memorable. At first he was hesitant but later it became a task to get her out of the pool. We did not get floating tube or any other helping thing for her which was big mistake but she enjoyed a lot. As you can see she was standing on platform in the pool and playing in water for almost 30 mins. The cold breeze and sunlight didn’t affect her enthusiasm. We couldn’t actually believe that it was her first time into the pool, the confidence and playfulness was remarkable.
Then we took shower and had lunch followed by a quick nap. In the evening we went to 📍Sula Vineyard. There is an entry fee of ₨.1000/person (Weekends). First thing to do here is to click a lot pictures personal, landscapes basically everything. Then we went to the store to redeem this cover charge and purchased some wine bottles for home.
We didn’t want to have the wine making tour as this was not our first visit so we went to the restaurant. We spent more than 2 hours overlooking the vineyard.

Next day we enjoyed our breakfast spread and took a dip into the pool and left for Pune.
Summary
Personally this is my go to place. Anytime we cannot decide on the destination but strongly want to leave the city life for sometime then we prefer this location. The calmness and food spread is really good. Me and my wife regret the decision of staying only for 2 days, we recommend minimum 3 days stay.
