I love coffee, especially a good mocha or cappuccino, but I don’t always want to spend too much time making it.
A couple of years ago, I bought the AGARO Royal Milk Frother because I wanted something simple that could help me make better coffee at home.
Two years later, I am still using it.
In fact, I use it around 3–4 times a week, and surprisingly, it is still working as well as I expected. So instead of writing a review after using it for a few weeks, I thought it would be more useful to share my experience after actually using it for two years.
What comes with the AGARO Milk Frother?
The frother comes with two attachments:
- Milk frother attachment
- Whisk attachment
I use both of them.
The frother is mainly used for my coffee, while I use the whisk attachment for beating eggs.
The device is rechargeable and has three speed settings. The attachments are stainless steel, and the overall design is compact enough to keep in a kitchen drawer or on the counter.
For me, having two attachments makes it more useful than a gadget that is only meant for making coffee foam.
My favourite use: Coffee
The main reason I bought this was coffee.
I regularly make mocha and cappuccino at home, and the frother makes it very easy to add some foam to the milk.
It doesn’t take much time. I simply attach the frother, put it into the milk and run it for a short time.
And suddenly, my regular homemade coffee feels a little more like a café-style coffee.
Of course, it isn’t going to replace a professional coffee machine. But that isn’t what I expect from a small handheld frother.
For everyday coffee at home, it does the job really well.
One small tip from my experience: use a slightly taller container when frothing milk. Don’t fill the container to the top because the milk can quickly become a mess once the frother starts working.

The whisk attachment is actually useful
The second attachment is the egg whisk, and this is something I didn’t expect to use so much.
Whenever I need to beat a couple of eggs, I simply change the attachment and use the same device.
It is obviously not a replacement for a large stand mixer. But for small kitchen jobs, it is convenient.
I don’t have to take out a big appliance, connect everything and then clean multiple parts.
Just attach the whisk, use it and clean it.
Simple.
How has it performed after two years?
This is probably the most important part of this review.
The motor is still working well.
I have been using the frother around 3–4 times every week for the last two years, and I haven’t noticed any major drop in performance.
The speed is still good, and the motor has enough power for the things I normally use it for.
The battery has also held up well.
Since it is rechargeable, there is no cable getting in the way while making coffee. I don’t have to charge it after every use either.
For my kind of usage, the battery has been more than sufficient.
Easy to clean
Another thing I like is that it is easy to clean.
The attachments can be removed and cleaned after use. I normally clean them soon after making coffee or using the whisk.
My advice here is simple: don’t leave milk or egg residue sitting on the attachment for too long.
Clean it immediately and it takes very little effort.
After two years, both attachments are still working properly for me.
What I like about it
After using the AGARO Milk Frother for two years, these are the things I like most:

- Compact and easy to store

And honestly, I don’t have any major complaint about my unit.
It has done exactly what I bought it for.
Is it worth buying?
If you are someone who regularly drinks cappuccino, mocha or other milk-based coffee, this can be a useful little kitchen gadget.
It is also useful if you occasionally need to beat eggs and don’t want to take out a large mixer.
I wouldn’t recommend looking at it as a replacement for a professional coffee machine or a proper kitchen mixer. But for small everyday jobs, it has worked very well for me.
And after two years, the biggest positive for me is simple:
I still use it.
We buy so many kitchen gadgets that look useful when we first see them, use them for a few weeks and then forget about them.
This one didn’t end up in that category.
Three or four times a week, I still pick it up, make my coffee, clean it and put it back.
Final thoughts
I bought the AGARO Milk Frother mainly to make better coffee at home.
Two years later, it is still part of my regular routine.
The motor still works well, the battery has held up, both attachments are useful, and cleaning is easy.
It isn’t a complicated gadget, and maybe that’s exactly why I like it.
You buy it, you use it, and it does its job.
